Lightning Boy is a thrilling coming-of-age story about teenagers who just so happen to be Greek gods - think Hercules meets Succession, with a lively, Hairspray-esque soundtrack.
Sixteen-year-old Zeus is caught in the eye of a storm, struggling to navigate life under the rule of his tyrannical father, Cronos. By day, he works tirelessly at the Sky High Diner atop Mount Olympus with his loyal friends, the Olympians, dreaming of a freedom that seems forever out of reach. But as the heir to the Titan throne, his destiny is already written - complicated further by his dysfunctional brothers, Hades and Poseidon, and his forbidden love for Io, a mortal.
So when a surprise betrothal, a sudden banishment, and a treacherous political plot shake his world, Zeus must race against time to discover what kind of god - and man - he is truly meant to be.
