Some of the opportunities below are available only by coming to one of our Audition Workshop days, while others you can book directly.
OUR RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS IN 2025
These are our residential productions and workshops in 2025, which are open to musicians between 10 and 23 who come to one of our auditions.
Audition Workshop
Our musicians' Audition Workshop is split into two sessions. You will take part in a group ensemble music session, followed by an opportunity to play your own piece(s) individually (up to 10 minutes). At the end of the session is a Q&A with the Musical Director.
Once you sign up to an Audition Workshop, we'll send you all the information you need to prepare. After the audition workshop, you will be invited to join a course or project.
This workshop has a fee of £25 and offers a half day of work with our industry professionals.
FEES
NYMT fees vary from course to course, project to project. We work hard to maintain fees at affordable levels. We never want finances to be a barrier. We provide our Young Company Members with a fundraising guide and we offer various bursaries at a range of levels.
