MAKE AN IMPRESSION
led by members of NYMT’s 2017 Creative Team
This invaluable day for all actors and singers focusses on how to prepare for auditions and recalls. Our team will guide you through every scenario, help you deliver the ideal material and provide the insights and support that we all need! Participants will learn how to deconstruct a song following a simple ten-step process. You will be focusing on physical and vocal techniques and how to make a positive impression in the room.
Please bring two contrasting songs and a short monologue. Pieces you are planning to use for forthcoming auditions or that you may have used in the past would be useful. If you're unsure, just bring some material you feel comfortable working on.
